Horry Herald April 23, 1908
Mr. J. H. Hux Dead

Mr. J. H. Hux died at his home last Tuesday. He was born April 3rd, 1825. Died 
April 14th, 1908.

He was a faithful solider in the war. He was sober, truthful and hones. He 
leaves a wife, one daughter, with a host of relatives and friends to mourn his 
departure. But we hope that he has gained that better part. A more extend 
notice will appear later.
