She suffered a long time what no tongue can tell. All that loving hearts and willing hands could do was done to arrest the fatal illness and turn the ebbing tide of life. But in obedience to the Divine will, death claimed the victim and the grave received its occupant, the remains were laid to rest the following day at Juniper Bay cemetery in the presence of many sorrowing relatives and friends. She was a good woman and was loved by all who knew her, we feel sure that she is at rest and know that she is through with the trials and troubles of this old sinful world. She has suffered her last pain and is now resting in the arms of Jesus. She told us she was ready and willing to go. She leaves a loving husband, eight children, four boys and four girls and 19 grandchildren, one brother and one sister, besides a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss, but we do not mourn as those who have no hope for we feel well satisfied that she is at rest. She was a loving wife, a good mother and kind neighbor. So may we all live such a live as aunt Mary did and when the angel of death closes his wings over us may we find a home in heaven and be with aunt Mary again around Gods white throne. Her bright smiles and kindly greetings will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her. Lula Jordanville, S. C. Additional Information: Mary, wife of Mathew "Math" I. Martin.
