Death of C. J. Prince 

Cornelius J. Prince of Zoan died unexpectedly last Wednesday night at Conway
Hotel where he had been staying for several days for treatment.  While he had
been very ill still his condition was not regarded as being of such a serious
nature.  It was his intention to go to a hospital at Wilmington, but his death
intervened. 

Mr. Prince was a member of the legislature from this county for the years of
1907 and 1908.  He was a Mason and the remains were taken to his home near Zoan
by an escort from the lodge here.  He was about seventy years of age and was a
successful farmer.
