Horry Herald January 19, 1905 
Mrs. Prudence Rabon wife of Isaiah Rabon died January 3, 1905, at her home near
Cool Spring S. C., at the age of seventy six years.  After six months of intense
suffering, borne with Christian fortitude and patience, she sweetly breathed her
last On Tuesday morning January 3rd , at six o’clock her immortal spirit
returned to God who gave it, thus passed away a good woman, a loving, faithful
wife, and a kind neighbor. 

She leaves a husband, six children, and a host of friends to mourn their loss. 
She possessed a broad and deep nature, free from malice.  She was charitable and
merciful to all, and for many years had been a consistent member of the
Methodist church. 

Mrs. Rabon, like many old, chose that good part early in life, which was never
taken away from her, and was such a comfort to her in her last moments.  She was
faithful to attend church, Sunday school and prayer meeting.  We shall meet her
no more to meet her again where parting will be no more. 

At 1 o’clock Wednesday p.m., her remains were carried to the Methodist Church at
Cool Spring, where the Rev. Mr. H. B. Roberts preached her funeral after which
loving friends laid her in the family cemetery to await the resurrection morn.   

We extend our sympathy to the bereaved husband and the entire family connection.
 May God’s grace be sufficient for them in this their hour of bereavement.  May
thy will be done. 

Her life was filled with kindness

      No evil words spoke she, she deeds

If we could but call her back today

      How pleasant life would be.
