Tribute of Respect

I. T. Skipper 

Whereas it has pleased Almighty God in his wise administration of providence 
to remove by death from our Quarterly Conference brother I. T. Skipper, who 
filled with great acceptability the most responsible offices of our circuit 
and whereas he was an enthusiastic co-laborer with as thereby endearing him to 
us all; therefore be it

Resolved 1st, That we as members of this Quarterly Conference and of Christ’s 
militant, thought we mourn our loss bow with becoming reverence and submission 
to this dispensation of our Father’s will.

Resolved 2nd, That the church sustains the loss of a faithful and efficient 
Sunday school Superintendent, and able advisor on church interests, and a 
liberal supporter of all institutions tending to the glory of God and the 
salvation of men.

Resolved 3rd, That a blank page of our Quarterly Conference Journal be 
dedicated to his memory that a copy of these resolutions be furnished the 
family of the deceased and to the Horry Herald for publication.
