In Loving Memory

Alice L. Todd

The death angel called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Todd and took from 
them the idol of the family little Alice L., aged five years nine months and 
fourteen days; and after bearing her sufferings with the greatest of patience.

Little Alice was a bright and sweet little darling and from a baby always had 
a great desire to talk to heaven and heavenly things and would speak of her 
loved ones that had gone before and she would know them and love them when she 
died and went to heaven. She would talk to her little sisters and tell them 
how they must do if they wanted to go to the Good Lord when they died.

She was the idol of her mother’s life and beloved by all who knew her and 
there were many sad hearts and tear stained faces over the grave. She was laid 
to rest on May 31st, in the old family burying grounds to await the 
resurrection mourn. We extend our greatest sympathy to the heart broken mother 
and the to the family at large.

It is hard so hard to giver it up
To meet on earth no more
A darling one from earth is gone,
A voice we love is still;
A place we made vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
