DEEDS 1801-1813 #0024045 p. 31 April 5, 1802 This Indenture made the twenty seventh day of Dec. in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and done between Jesse FLEY, Senr. Of South Carolina in Kershaw Co. of the one part and Elizabeth FLEY his wife of the one part and Jesse FLY, Junior their son of the same State and county of the other part. Witn. That the said Jesse FLY an Elizabeth his wife has bargained sold for fifty pounds currency given granted released and confirmed by those presents do grant unto the said Jesse FLY, Junr. One hundred and fifty acres of land granted unto the said Jesse FLY senr. By his Excellency William MOULTRIE Esq. Governor over the said State dated the 13th of Oct. 1784 recorded in Grant Book T.T.T.T. page ---- 345 it being in the said State and on the county line some in Lancaster Co. and some part in Kershaw Co. being on Buffalo a branch of Great Lynches Creek bounded as follows as the plat represents on both sides of North Buffalo Creek beginning on a pine corner running N E 34 degrees chains 38.72 to Jack Oak Corner thence N to 56.38 chains 72 to pine corner the S. W. 34.38.72 to corner thence 56.38.72 to beginning corner binding north on James ROBERTSONS land on West on vacant land S.S.E. on CRAIG and EVAN’S land in which said one hundred and fifty acres of land here in mentioned more or less on which said one hundred and fifty acres of land have mentioned more or less the said Jesse FLY and Elizabeth his wife by virtue of this deed of conveyance with all that apparition thereof the buildings orchards fencing timbers and ways water courses with every privileges and advantages unto the said Jesse FLY, Junr. In full property and possession to him and his heirs for ever. To have and to hold the said one hundred and fifty acres of land out the premises for ever in which the said Jesse FLY, Senr. And Elizabeth his wife for themselves their heirs executors administrations and assigns and from all other claims rights of an person or persons whatsoever do warrant and defend the here in mentioned one hundred and fifty acres of land with all thereto belonging unto the said Jesse FLY, Junr. And his heirs and assigns for ever to be his actual property. In Witness we have hereunto set our hand and acknowledged his seal date above mentioned. 3 words between 4th & 5th line before signing.
