A Memorial exhibited by Alexander Nisbett to be registered in Auditors office 
and is of a plantation or tracts of land containing one hundred and fifty acres 
situated in Craven County, on Cane Creek a branch of Catawba River bounded 
NE on lands of Joseph Walker, SE and SW on Robert Ramsey’s lands and N on 
vacant lands; survey certified the 5th of September 1769 and granted the 27th 
day of November 1770 to the Memorialist at the quit rent of 3/ster or 4/pence 
money.  100 acres to commence two years from the date.  In witness whereof 
he hath hereunto set his hands the 5th of January 1771.
