Confederate Veteran and His Son.
 
   Mr. A. F. McNeill and son, Lincoln, of Columbia, S. C., spent last night in the 
city with Dr. F. O. Hawley, en route home from Davidson commencement.  The younger 
Mr. McNeill graduated from Davidson and was awarded a medal.
   Mr. McNeill is a Confederate veteran county Scotchman, but moved to Columbia some

years ago. – Charlotte Chronicle.
