Know all men to by these presents that I George Lucas of the state and Sarah Powers district aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of eighty dollars to me in hand paid by Sarah of the said State and district have granted bargained and sold and released and by these presents do grant bargain sell and release unto the said Sarah Powers all that plantation or tract of land containing fifty acres granted to John Sanders bounded on the East side by land belonging to Osborne Lane on the South by Wm Bryants land and on all other sides by William Turners lands together with all and singular the rights members hereditants and appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in any way ??? or appertaining to have & to hold all & singular the premises before mentioned unto the said Sarah Powers her heirs & assigns forever and I do hereby bind myself my heirs & assigns to warrant and forever defend all and singular the premises unto the said Sarah Powers her heirs & assigns against myself my heirs & against all persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
