Indenture made May 15, 1815 Benjamin Lewis of South Carolina Marion District 
and John Lewis of Robeson County, for $100 for one third part of the 
property both real and personal that belonged to the heirs of Starling 
Powell dec'd agreeable to our receipt from the heirs of said estate to wit, 
Thomas Powell and others, which said third part of said property we warrant 
and defend.
