The State of South Carolina, ) County of Marion. ) I, Rebecca J. Hamilton, of Marion County, in said State, do make and declare this as my Last Will and Testament: 1. I give, bequeath and devise all of my property, Real and personal, which I now have or may hereafter acquire, to my son, Thomas W. Hamilton. 2. I appoint my husband Dr. W.W. Hamilton and my son, Thomas W. Hamilton Executors of my will, giving to them full powers over all my possessions that I myself have. Witness my hand and Seal. August 26th, 1899 Rebecca J. Hamilton {LS} Mrs. Rebecca J. Hamilton declared the foregoing Instrument of writing to be her Last will and testament, in our presence, who, at her request, in her presence, and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names hereto as Witnesses, Aug. 26th, 1899. Hamer, Probate Judge for the County of Marion Personally appeared J.D. McLucas, a subscribing witness to the annexed instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Mrs. Rebecca J. Hamilton late of Marion County, deceased, who being duly sworn deposeth and saith that he was present and did see the said instrument of writing duly executed by the said Rebecca J. Hamilton and deponent further saith that the said Rebecca J. Hamilton at the time of executing the said instrument of writing was to the best of deponent’s knowledge and belief of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding and that J.D. McLucas, (the deponent) and Ella Finklea and Lavina Fore in the presence of each other and of the said Rebecca J. Hamilton and at her request signed their names as witnesses to the due execution of the same. J.D. McLucas Sworn and Subscribed to before me this 14th day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve Probate Judge. Upon the due consideration of the above testimony and being satisfied with the sufficiency thereof, it is adjudged and decreed that the said instrument in writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Rebecca J.
