To all to whom these presents shall come, I Joshua DAVID, Junr. Sheriff of 
Marlborough District and State aforesaid send Greeting.
Whereas by virtue of a writ of Fieri Facias issued out of the Court of Common 
pleas held for the District of Marlborough Tested the first Monday after the 
fourth Monday of March in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and 
Twenty one at the sicit of David MONTGOMERY to me directed Commanding me that 
of the Goods and Chattels lands and Tenements of Ladock (or Zadock) LAVINER to 
levy the Sum of Seventy three Dollars and Twenty three Cents Damages and Cost I 
have seized and taken of the Lands and Tenements of the said Ladock (or Zadock) 
LAVINER All that Certain piece parcel and Tract of Land Containing Two hundred 
and twenty five acres (more or less) bounded by Lands of Gillam JOHNSON, 
Charles BRIGHT and Steven QUICK on the waters of Lightwood nott Creek.
And whereas the said premises with their appurtenances since the seizure by me 
made by virtue of the said Writ of Fieri Facias before mentioned have been 
Exposed to Sale at publick Vendue and purchased by David MONTGOMERY of the 
district of Marlborough and State aforesaid for the Sum of Eleven Dollars that 
being the highest Sum that was bidden therefore Now Know ye. That I Joshua 
DAVID, Junr. Sheriff aforesaid by virtue of the said Writ of fieri facias 
aforesaid to me directed and delivered as aforesaid and by virtue of the 
Statute in

Such case made and provided and for and in Consideration of the said sum of 
Eleven Dollars to me in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said David 
MONTGOMERY the receipt and payment whereof I do hereby acknowledge have Granted 
bargained and Sold and by these presents do Grant bargain and Sell unto the 
said David MONTGOMERY his heirs and assigns forever the said Tract piece and 
parcel of Land with its appurtenances and all the Estate right Sello and 
interest which the said Ladock (or Zadock) LAVINER of right had of in and to 
the same To have and to hold the said piece parcel and Tract of land with its 
appurtenances to the said David MONTGOMERY his heirs and assigns forever as 
fully and absolutely as I the said Joshua DAVID, Jr. Might could or ought to 
Grant bargain and sell by virtue of the Statute aforesaid and the said Writ of 
Fierti facias or otherwise.
In witness whereof I the said Joshua DAVID, Jr. have hereunto set my hand and 
Seal the tenth day of August in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred 
and Twenty one.

Tenements of the said Zadock (Ladock?) LEVINER all that certain pieces parcel 
one Tract of Land containing two hundred and fifty acres more or less situate 
and being in the District of Marlborough bounded by lands belonging to William 
WALLACE Betty GINN and Hugh WATT on the North side of Lightwood Nott Creek, and 
whereas the said premises with their appurtenances since the seizure by me made 
by virtue of the said writ of fieri faices before mentioned have been Exposed 
to Sale at publick Vendue, on the first Monday of March and purchased by David 
MONTGOMERY of the District of Marlborough for the Sum of five Dollars being the 
highest sum that was bidden therefor.  Now Know Ye that I Joshua DAVID, Junr. 
Sheriff aforesaid by virtue of the said Writ of fiere ficias aforesaid to me 
directed and delivered as aforesaid and by virtue of the Statute in such case 
made and provided and for and in Consideration of the said Sum of Five Dollars 
to me in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said David MONTGOMERY the 
receipt and payment I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and 
by these presents do grant bargain and Sell unto the said David MONTGOMERY his 
heirs and assigns forever the said Tract piece and parcel of Land with its 
appurtenances and all the Estate right and Tille and Interest which the said 
Zedekiah LEVINER of right had of in and to the same.  To have and to hold the 
said piece parcel and Tract of Land unto the said David MONTGOMERY his heirs 
and assigns forever as fully and absolutely as I the said Joshua DAVID, Junr. 
Might could or ought to grant bargain and sell the same by virtue of the statue 
aforesaid and the said writ of fieri facias or otherwise.  In witness Whereof I 
the said Joshua DAVID, Junr. Have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Twenty 
third day of October in the year of our lord one thousand Eight hundred and 
Twenty Three.
