Turn left onto road S-33-64, turn right across railroad and go just past waterpond on road S-33-82 approx. 3/10 mile to house place with one large oak on left and other house place with five large oaks on right. Walk past house place on right, bear approx. 40 degrees to left of house for approx. 1/2 mile. Follow old road bed approx. 200 yards. Cemetery is on right of old road bed. Only one large stone in this burial ground. However, orderly depressions on ground lend evidence of at least eight more graves. No evidence is found of borders which indicate the size of the burial ground. The stone mentioned above bears the inscription: Kittie C. Creswell, 1869 - 1939, Gone But Not Forgotten August 12, 2000 The information above was copied with permission from "McCormick County Cemeteries" prepared by the McCormick County Historical Society in 1987, whose members I deeply thank.
