County of Abbeville

From Mrs Mary C Jennings
To Rufus Boseworth

Know all men by these presents, that I Mary C Jennings of the County of 
Abbeville in the State aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of three 
dollars, to me in hand paid at and before the sealing of these presents, by 
Rufus Boseworth, of the county of Abbeville in the State aforesaid-- ---- (the 
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged) have granted, bargained, sold, and 
released,and by these Presents do grant, bargain, sell and release unto the 
said Rufus Boseworth all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being 
in Ryan Township, Edgefield County in the state aforesaid containing twenty 
five acres more or less and bounded by lands of Jas Miner & Mary C Jennings on 
South, WO Stuckey East by F.M. Hendrick on North.
Of which I am the sole owner and upon which there is no subsisting lien of any 
kind whatsoever.
Together with all and singular the Rights, Members, Hereditaments and 
Appurtenances to the said premises belonging, or in anywise incident or 
appertaining.
To Have And To Hold, all and singular, the said Premises before mentioned unto 
the said Rufus Boseworth his heirs and assigns forever.
And I do hereby bind myself and my heirs, executors and administrators, to 
warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said 
Rufus Boseworth heirs and assigns, against me and my heirs, executors and 
administrators and any and every person lawfully claiming or to claim the same 
or any part thereof.
Whereas I have hereunto signed hand and seal this twenty third day of June AD 
1898 and in the one hundred and --- year of the Sovereignty and Independence of 
the United States of America.

Jennings, sister of Rupert Boysworth
