Acctg to Seven pound four shillings and three pence. Exd. W. G. Gin State of South Carolina to Daniel Green for duty in the company commanded by Capt. John Still Duty done again in said company 71 days. Total money due 50-10. Rec'd 22 Sept 1784 South Carolina Pursuant to an Act of the General Assembly and passed the 16th of March, 1783, We, the Commissioners of the Treasury, have this day delivered to Mr. Daniel Green this our Indented Certificate for the sume of twenty pounds four shillings for eight-six days militia duty for _____audited. The said Daniel Green, his Executors, Administrators, or Assigns will be entitled to receive from this Office the Sum of Ten Shillings and one pence Sterg on the demand for one year's interest on the princible sum of twenty pounds four shillings and three pence farthing sterling and the like interest annually by resolutions of the General Assembly 1783. The said Daniel Green, his Executors, Administrators, or Assigns, will be entitled also to receive and shall be paid, if demanded, the principal sum of twenty pounds four shillings and three pence farthing Sterling on the twenty second day of September 1786. And the said Daniel Green, his Executors, Administrators, or Assigns, may make any purchase at any Public sales of confiscated property (except such as shall be ordered by the Legislature for special purposes;) and this Indent shall be received in payment. For the true performance of several payments in manner abovementioned, the Public Treasury, is made liable and the Faith of the State pledged by the aforesaid Act. Given under our hands at the Treasury Office, in Charleston, the Twenty Second day of September one thousand seven hundred and eighty four. Agreed. Resolution of the General Assembly 51 pounds 1 shilling and 5 pence was issued to a Daniel Green, but not the right man. John Timmons, Saml. Timmons, Abner Timmons, Thos. Timmons, David Goodlett, John Goodlett, and Henry Prince. Rec'd 3 March 1786 from the Commissioners of the Treasury Fifty one pounds, one shilling and five pence farthing Sterling, the full amount of my acct. _______in to the Auditor General, and since allowed by an Act of the General Assembly in an Indent No. 1704 Daniel Green South Carolina Pursuant to an Act of the General Assembly passed the 16th of March 1783, We the Commissioners of the Treasury, have this Day delivered to Mr. Daniel Green, this our Indented Certificate for the sum of Fifty one pounds, one shilling and five pence sterling for service for _____1781 and 1782 _______ __________ an Act of the General Assembly. The said Daniel Green, his Executors, Administrators, or Assigns, will be entitled to also receive and shall be paid, if demanded, the principal sum of fifty one pounds one shilling and five pence on the 3rd of March 1780. And the said Daniel Green, his Executors, Administrators or Assigns may make any purchase at any Public sales of confiscated property, (except such as shall be ordered by the Legislature for Special Purposes;) and this indent shall be received in payment.
