Shull, Jr. (d.shull@ieee.org), a Great Great Grandson of Middleton Boland MIDDLETON BOLAND FAMILY CEMETERY Little Mountain, Newberry County, SC This is a small family cemetery located in a wooded area west of Little Mountain, SC. Directions: From Interstate 26, exit #85, take SC 202 west toward Little Mountain. Travel 1.7 miles to intersection of US 76 in downtown Little Mountain. Turn right (west) on US 76. Travel 0.4 miles where Mt. Tabor Road will fork to the right (following the railroad). Go 0.4 miles on Mt. Tabor Road and look for a primitive one-lane road into the woods on your left. Proceed about 100 yards into the woods where the road ends. On your right is the Middleton Boland Family Cemetery. The burial area is a rectangle approximately 20 by 30 feet, surrounded by an iron fence. The grave is also marked by a metal Southern Cross of Honor emblem, commemorating Middleton Boland's service in the Confederate army. [4] Fourth child (second daughter) of Middleton & Barbara Boland. [5] Sixth child (third daughter) of Middleton & Barbara Boland. [6] Granddaughter of Middleton & Barbara Boland. Daughter of Abram Noah Boland and Martha A. Miller Boland. Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church and Mt. Tabor Cemetery are located 0.4 miles further west on Mt. Tabor Road. The graves of other relatives may be found there. Middleton Boland's third child (first daughter), Rachael Happy Boland, and her husband, John Anderson Shealy, are memorialized in one of the stained glass windows, and the couple is buried in the Mt.
