A Deed of Conveyance from Elias Hendrix to George Dominick.  
	The State of South Carolina
Know all men by these presents that I Elias Hendrix of Newberry District in the 
State aforesaid & in consideration of the sum of Seven Hundred and twenty 
Dollars current money of said State to me paid by George Dominick of the same 
place have granted bargained sold released & by these presents do grant bargain 
sell and release unto the said George Dominick all that parcel or tract of land 
containing Seventy two acres (more or less) situate in the State & District 
aforesaid on little creek a branch of Big Creek a tributary stream of Saluda 
River adjoining lands of John W. Summers, John P. Harmon, Abijah Hendrix, David 
Boozer, George Dominick being a  part of a tract of one hundred & fifty eight 
acres Reference maybe had to a plat of the same certified by A. R. Able D. S. 
bearing equal date herewith which will fully show forth the same.
Together with all and singular the Rights members, hereditaments, & 
appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining To 
have and to hold all & singular the premises aforesaid unto the said George 
Dominick his heirs & assigns forever.
	And I do hereby bind myself my Heirs Executors and Administrators to 
warrant & forever defend all and singular the aforesaid premises unto the said 
George Dominick his heirs and assigns against myself and my heirs & every other 
person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part 
thereof.
	In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 
twentyeighth day of March A D one thousand eight hundred and forty four & 
sixtyeight year of American Independence.

South Carolina }Personally appeared before me Charles Wood and made Oath that 
Newberry District } he saw Elias Hendrix sign seal & deliver the within Deed to 
George Dominick for the use and purpose therein mentioned and that Abijah 
Hendrix in presence of each other did witness the due execution thereof

South Carolina   }  I Samuel Bowers Magt do hereby certify unto all whom it may 
Newberry District} concern that Cealy Hendrix the wife of the within named 
Elias Hendrix did this day appear before me and upon being privately and 
separately examined by me did declare that she did freely & voluntarily without 
any compulsion dread or fear of any person or persons whomsoever renounce 
release and forever relinquish unto the within named George Dominick his heirs 
& assigns, all her interest and Estate, and also all her right and claim of 
Dower of in or to all and singular the premises within mentioned and ____.
