1784 Hugh Creighton lives in Newberry Co SC.....

1784, Dec. 10, S.C., Newberry Co., date of will of Benjamin Pearson .
"sold 200 acre tract of land in Bush River Settlement to my brother
William Pearson, dec'd, adjacent Hugh Creighton, Henry Coate, and John
Brooks, for which I have received a sum of money . . . Proved 6 June
1788." (Book A, page 25)

From this record we find Hugh Creighton in 1784, living in Newberry County 
South Carolina
