Contributed to The USGenWeb Archives by: Ann Glasgow 01 Feb 2000 ---------------------------------------- Will of Mary wife of James Glasgow IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN, I, Mary Glasgow, of the District of Newberry and State of South Carolina, being weak in body but of sound mind and memory, blessed be God for His Mercies, do this 5th day of April in the Year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two, I do make this my last will and testament in the way and manner following: I do allow my son, John Glasgow, to have the management and care of my property during my life, and to put so much of the said money and property to my use and benefit as far as he does think needful, and at my decease one head stone with foot stone, and all my funeral expenditures are taken out, and if anything remaining at my decease, to go to Mary Glasgow, the widow of Wilson Glasgow, deceased, and her heirs, their use and benefit.
