Turn right on River Rd just before you come to the GA/Lake Hartwell border. Drive north on River Rd until you come to the 351 River Rd mailbox. Cemetery is on a high hill that is 0.4 miles east of the mailbox. Latitude N 34 38.31 x Longitude W 83 14.30 Locate intersection of Highways 76 & 123. Drive west on Highway 123. Turn right on River Rd just before you come to the GA/Lake Hartwell border. Drive north until you come to Cleveland Pike Rd. Turn right on Fountain Falls Rd (dirt). Drive past home on right. When you come to the home on the left, bear right. Cemetery is down the hill from where the road stops. Charles Words (Jr) who was killed at battle of Kings Mountain. Memorial plaque placed here by great grandchildren & sponsored by Walhalla Chapter of D.A.R.. Six other unmarked graves.
