Washell by warranty deed dated 5-29-59 Cemetery was originally located southeast of Seneca. The cemetery area is now being destroyed by large falling dead trees and scrub brush. It's obvious that no attempt has been made to maintain this area. However, the Hepsibah Baptist Church cemetery area just to the right of this area, seems to be well maintained. When the undertaker re-interred the graves, they used common funeral home metal stake markers at each grave location. It's assumed that they used a typed paper card in each stake holder, since they are now gone - a few stakes have stamped metal cards in them. It's doubtful that living relatives of these pioneers, could ever determine where their family members are buried.
