He had married Sarah Frances Perry b.1767/d.3-Jun-1845 she dropped dead. She was the daughter of William Perry who was a Rev. War Soldier and a Whig. Was he the William in DAR Index b.1726/d.1830 index? Benjamin had 12 children. by: Era Davis, 18-Feb-2006 o----------o Yes, I did find the Benjamin Morgan, 1762-1835, family cemetery on his former farm about 25 years ago. It is on a hill in the woods on the right going down to the old John E. Holden place on the river near the King's Grove Baptist Church. It is listed as family cemeteries in the genealogy library in the Clemson University Library. There are many unmarked soap stone markers there, but there is one stating "B. Morgan D 1835". His wife was Frances Perry, 1767-1845. I would assume she is also buried with her husband, because he lived out his life there on the river on his bottomland farm raising a large family. The present owner of the John Holden place can show you the this cemetery. Let me know, and I will take you there. I also know where the Benjamin Lawrence grave is. It is the woods at his original home place near the original Fort Hill plantation. The Robert F. Morgan, grandson of Benjamin, family cemetery is on his former farm off the road near Jones' Mill in the woods......across the road from the from the Present Sammy LeRoy farm.
