R. BRADEEN PACK. 181 NO. 8 TAVERN LICENSE CLERK OF COURTS OFFICE, PICKENS, S. C. To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of Pickens County. The humble petition of the undersigned a Citizen of Pickens County. Respectfully petition your Honorable Board for a Tavern License to retail liquors at the house now occupied by him on the Air Line Rail Road, and near the public road, between Mrs. Maddens and Catd Hallums. Your petitioner is prepared to keep a Tavern and has at least two spare beds and necessary bedding, more than are required for the family of the said applicant, and I am well provided with house room and stabling and provender for four horses. May 20, 1872 A. R. Bradeen We the undersigned residing in the neighborhood, where the said A. R. Bradeen proposes to open a Tavern license and we certify that the said A. R. Bradeen is a gentleman of good repute for honesty and sobriety, and is known to us to have at least two spare beds and necessary bedding, more than is required for the family of the said applicant, and is well provided with house room stabling and provender for four horses.
