CLERK OF COURTS OFFICE, PICKENS, S. C.
To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners for Pickens County.

   We the undersigned most respectfully petition your Honorable Board for a
license to retail Spiritious Liquors at or near Dr. H. C. Millers in Pickens
County for the Term of three months commencing on the 1st day of April next and
your petitioner will ever pray &c.

   We the undersigned Free Holders of Pickens County take great pleasure in
recommending R. M. Casey & C. W. Young as suitable and proper persons to retail
spiritious liquors and we believe will keep a decent and respectable Bar Room.
