TAVERN LICENSE

CLERK OF COURTS OFFICE, PICKENS, S. C.
To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners for Pickens County.
   The undersigned most respectfully petition your Honorable Board for a license
to retail spiritious liquors at my home at Cedar Rock until the 1st day of May
next and your petitioner will ever pray &c.
Feby 24, 1869                   Austin Day

   We the undersigned Free Holders recommend Mr. Austin Day as a fit and
suitable person to retail spiritious liquors and that in our opinion he will
comply with the laws in such case made & provided.
