KEITH PACK. 182 EQUITY CLERK OF COURTS OFFICE, PICKENS, S. C. Wm. L. Keith died in 1856. Left a widow Elizabeth Brown Keith & 7 children to wit, Elliott M., Thomas J., Marville L., Col. William C, John R. and Eliza Ann Earle, wife of Dr. James B. Earle, Mary Isabella Keith . . . Thomas J. Keith died August 5, 1862 . . . Elliott M. Keith died in Sept. 1862 intestate leaving a widow Mary R. Keith and five children all of whom are minors to wit, Flora C. Keith, Virginia Elvira Keith, Calhoun Wm. Keith, Elizabeth M. Keith, Elliott M. Keith Jr. . . . On June 29, 1863, Marvel L. Keith & William C. Keith were mentioned as being absent from the state . . . John R. Keith, Thomas J. Keith, Elliott M. Keith the testators three sons died during the year 1862, each intestate, the two former unmarried and the latter married. Elizabeth B. Keith his widow died in December 1863, not having entered into a second marriage . . . List of lands belonging to the said Major W. L. Keith viz. "Cheohee" containing 2,470 acres sold to Gen. J. W. Harrison. Homestead town lots & 128 acres land adjoining sold to J. E. Hagood. One acre lot in front of dwelling house sold to M. F. Mitchell. . . .
