TAVERN LICENSE
CLERK OF COURTS OFFICE, PICKENS, S. C.

To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners for Pickens County.
   The undersigned petitions your honorable body to grant Licenses to retail
spiritious liquors at Table Mountain, Pickens Co. S. C. for the term of twelve
(12) months commencing May the first 1870 to May first 1871.

                               J. Brown Kirksey

   We the undersigned free holders of Pickens County do hereby recommend J.
Brown Kirksey as being a suitable person to retail liquor at Table Mountain,
S. C.
Isaac Williams
J. Hester
G. K. Hendricks
