CLERK OF COURT'S OFFICE, PICKENS, S. C.

To Hon Board of County Commissioners Pickens County.

   We the undersigned most respectfully petition your Honorable Board for a
license to retail spiritious liquors for six months at William L. Rogers store
commencing on the 10th of June 1869 and your petitioners will ever pray.
                              George B. Thomas
                              George W. Oneal
   We  the  undersigned  free  holders recommend Messrs George Thomas, G. W.
O'Neal as suitable persons to retail spiritious liquors and in our opinion will
comply with the law in such case made & provided.
