VANDERGRIFT PACK. 181 NO. 16 TAVERN LICENSE To the Clerk of Court's Office, Pickens, S. C. The undersigned Andrew J. Vandergrift most respectfully petition your Honorable Board for a license to retail spiritious liquors by the drink at the Wool Factory of William McDades in Pickens County for the term of Twelve Months commencing on the 23 day of this month, and your petitioner will ever pray &c. March 22, 1870 A. J. Vandergrift We the undersigned free holders recommend Mr. A. J. Vandergrift as a suitable person to retail spiritious liquors at McDades Factory and will comply with the law relating to the same. March 23, 1870 George R. Burgess J. J.
