Six Mile -- The sad death of Mrs Nancy MAULDIN, aged 91 years, widow of the 
late Marber (Mabry) MAULDIN, died at the home of her son, B D MAULDIN, on 
the 29th ult, at 12 m, after a lingering illness of more than two years.  
She was laid to rest in the Gep (Gap) Hill cemetery the following Thursday, 
Rev S P McCARTY conducting the funeral services.  
Mrs MAULDIN leaves five sons…..Eps MAULDIN, of Piedmont; William, of 
Central; Bascum, of Stewart, SC; Macon and Marcus, of Georgia, and two 
daughters---Mrs Martha MEARES, of Seneca, and Mrs Mary ELLISON, of Anderson.  
Also, numerous other relatives and a host of friends to mourn their loss.  
She was a true Christian and a beautiful character.  She is gone, but the 
food she has done still lives:  she is sleeping in Jesus.  This is written 
by one who knew and lover her.
