Honea Path 29 Nov: 

Hamilton B. Roper 75, one of Honea Path's oldest & highest respected citizens 
died tonight. Mr. Roper was a native of Pickens Co. but moved to Honea Path 
twelve years ago from Laurens Co. Surviving are two sons: E. F. & C. H. Roper 
of Honea Path, Mrs. Leslie Lauresteen of Faribault MN, two sisters Mrs. J. L. 
Mahaffey of Grey Court, Mrs. Delia Acker of Williamston also survive. Interment 
in East View Cemetery.
