Death of Elder Joseph Grisham, the eldest son of John and Martha
Grisham, born in Anderson District,  S. C., 16 Nov 1789, and died at his
residence in Cherokee county, Ga., 9 April 1857. Baptized by John
Chastain in 1837 at Newhope Church, in Pickens Dist., S. C.; 6 April
1838 ordained to the ministry.
