I, Susan Anderson, of the State and District a foresaid, being of sound and disposing mind & memory but weak in body, and calling to mind the uncertainty of life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bless me with, do make and ordain this my last will in manner and form following, that is to say - I give to my mother Fanny Knox all read(y)? money in my possession and what is owing to me with the exception of one debt owed by my brother Isaac Knox which I give to him. I also give to my mother Fanny Knox my negro girl Frances to be enjoyed by her for the term of her natural life and at her death I wish the said negro girl Frances to be appraised, and I wish my sister Sarah McClure to pay to my brother William Knox one-half of the appraisement and give the said negro girl Frances to his daughter Susan. I give to my brother Samuel Knox one feather Bead (sic).
