All of the Woffords that are buried here are descended from the same ancestors as Benjamin Wofford, who left money to establish a Methodist School---Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina Directions: Take I26 from Spartanburg to Road 50 (Woodruff), turn left back over I26 toward Walnut Grove. Go about 1 mile on Walnut Grove Road (Road 50), turn right on Shaw Road, go about 3_ miles and turn left on Hill Bridge Road (no road names on sign). Less than _ mile on right will be the Benjamin Wofford Memorial, just before Hill's Bridge. Go about 2 miles, turn left and Hebron Church is on the left. The cemetery is left of the church on the road. From the sign in front of the church, Hebron was established in 1865. The pastor in 1996 is Susan Ashworth.
