Bond; there is no will Citation to Captain Terrill On the 11th April 1791 I published the within at Spartanburgh Court House. Signed: John Bowers Spartanburg County: Whereas Capt. James Terrill hath this day made Application in open Court for a Citation in order to administer on the Estate of Israel Robertson Deceased, These are therefore to Cite and admonish all persons particularly the Relation of the said Deceased to appear in Open Court Tomorrow at Nine o'Clock to Shew Cause if any they have why adminstration Should not be Granted accordingly. Lancaster, CSC South Carolina Know all men by these presents that we James Terrill, Obadiah Trimmier, and Littleton Bagwell are jointly and severally holden and firmly bound and obliged unto the Judges of the County Court of Spartanburgh in the State aforesaid in the sum of Five hundred pounds -- to be paid unto the said County Court or their Successors in office their attorney or assigns, to which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves and each of us, our heirs Executors and administrators, Jointly and Severally firmly, by these presents Sealed with our Seals and dated the 12th of April A.D. 1791-- Whereas adminstration of all and Singular the Goods and chattels, rights and Credits which were of Israel Robertson were lately granted and committed by the said County Court, unto the said James Terrill-- The Condition of the above Obligation is such, that of the above bounden James Terrill-- administrator of the Goods chattels and Credits of Israel Robertson Deceased, do make a true and perfect inventory of all and Singular the goods Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased, which have or Shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of the said James Terrill--or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and in so made do exhibit unto the said Court of Spartanburgh when he shall be thereunto required, and Such goods Chattels and Credits do well and truly administer According to Law: and do make a Just and true account of his actions and doings therein when required by the said Court, and all the rest of the said Goods chattels and Credits which shall be found remaining upon the account of the said administration the same being first allowed by the said Court, shall deliver and pay unto such persons respectively as are intitled to the same by Law; and if it Shall hereafter appear that any last will and testament was made by the said deceased the same be proved in Court and the Executors obtains a Certificate of the probate thereof, and the said James Terrill - do in such Case if required render and deliver up the said Letters of Administration, then this Obligation to be void or else to remain in full force.
