Know all men by these presents that I John Roberson for and in 
consideration of the of five Hundred dollars to me in hand paid 
by William Roberson have Barganed and Sold unto the said William Roberson 
a negro man known by the name of Aron which two party I do by these presents 
warrant and forever defend from all manner of persons lawfully Claiming the 
same In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and offered my Seal this 
fourth day of September in the year of our lord one thousand Eight hundred and three

Justice and duly made oath that he saw John Roberson Sign Seal 
and deliver the within Bill of Sale for the uses and purposes

name as a witness to the same.  Sworn and Subscribed to this 4th September 1803.
