Spartanburg District

Personally appears before the subscriber Judge of the Court of Ordinary for Said 
District, John Morrow aged fifty Eight years who being first duly sworn 
according to law on his oath saith tht he is the third Child of Samuel and Janat 
Morrow, that the family record taken from the family Bible hereunto attached is 
in the hand writing of his Father Samuel Morrow, that the Said family record has 
been in his possession Ever Since Shortly after the death of his Father, that 
the Said record is guinuine, and has not been altered or changed Since the death 
of his Father That his Father Samuel Morrow died on the nineteenth day of 
Febuary Eighteen hundred and forty two, that his Mother Janat Morrow the above 
applicant is his widow.

Sworn to and subscribed before me this 10th day of Dec 1844.
