I Vincent Wyatt of Spartanburg District afor said in the State aforsaid, being at this time, of Sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, thanks be to God for the same, and knowing that it is the purpose for all men, once to die- for the purpose of redulating my temporal concerns, do make, ordain and constitute the following as my last Will & Testament, To wit Imprimies- I will that my body may be Dustly buried in a Christian manner at the discretion of my Wife, and Executor after my deceased. Item 2nd I direct that all my just debts and funeral Expenses be paid out of my Estate, by my Executor, who is authorized to sell so much things as may be necefary for that purpose- Item 3rd I will devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Maryn ann Wiat, the Lease I now hold from W. W. Harris including the house and propefsions in which I now reside, to be held and enjoy'd by her, during the term of her natural life or widowhood- and also all my personal property, not otherwise, herein after divised, to be by her held and used during her natural life or widowhood.-- I also will divise and bequeath unto my said Wife, the following named Negro, towit, Cruse, Pat, John Robert, Millifa Willis William and the infant Creece, to be held and Injoyed by her and hir heirs forever Item 4. I will and divise that my Negro man Stephen, be and remain with my wife, untill the Negro Boy Robert shall arrive at the age of twenty four and at that time I will divise and bequeath the said Negro Stephen to my Daughter Jane Shields, wife of Mose Shields, to be held by her and his heirs forever. Item 5th.At the death or marriafe of my wife Mary Ann, I will divise and bequeath that all the property herein before given to her for life or widowhood be equally divided, between my three Children Jane Shields, Vincient Wiat and Spencer Wiat, to be held used and enjoyed by them and their heirs forever. Item 6. I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint John Poole Esq. late Sherriff of Spartanburgh, My Sole Executor of this my lasr Will and Testament with a request that he will superintend my wife and the property in her case during her life, and under her such afistance , as his Judgement may deam expedicent.--- In witnefs Whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 18th Day 1837 his Vincent x Wyatt (Seal) mark Signed Sealed and ) declared,in presence ) of. ) W.
