The State vs Richard M. Dyson.
Indictment for murder.
The Prisoner is put to the bar and arraingned and upon his arraingement, 
pleaded not guilty and for trial puts himself upon God and his country and 
answers he is ready for trial.

The prisoner is put upon his trial and after various challenges the following 
Jury was empanneled: Viz:
1. Samuel R. Chandler                7. James Epps
2. Abraham Hodge                     8. D. A. Foxworth
3. Jos. A. Scott                     9. A. L. Jones
4. Daniel Brunson                   10. John W. Knowlton
5. S.E.N. Plowden                   11. Alex. Norris
6. John F. June                     12. James Atkinson
This jury was charged.
