Declared by him, by word of mouth this eighth day of January 1805. A few minutes previous to his death, at his won house, called upon us whose names are underwritten to evidence the method in which he wished his estate to be divided which are as follows, Viz: The personal property, that I have already give to my oldest children, I allow to them who are to remit the sum of five hundred dollars to my wife and younger children, in consequence of land give to them and also all my personal property now in my possession, to be equally divided, beween my wife and younger children. These were the words spoken by the said Henry Durant, deceased, in the presence of us whose names are underwritten, as evidence for the due Executors thereof--------------- (Recorded in Will Book "A" Pg. 45) Jo.
