Petition by Robert Ray showeth that he is the father of Laura Ann Ray and
William Antoine Ray both minors under 21. Laura Ann 3 years of age, William
Antoine 2 years of age. Said children are entitled to share of estate of
Marshall Barnett dec'd and that no one has been appointed guardian. Marshall
Barnett dec'd leaving wife Jane, and Mary, Isaac & John Barnett, Warren Barnett
& Lyle Barnett and Laura Ann Ray & William Antoine Ray as his heirs.
His estate including land adjoining R Macbeth, Jane Jones, James (or Isaac?)
Greer Esq., Wesley Sanders, Charles Barnett and Major Black.
