Widow of Vandyne S. CARTER. Elizabeth Carter To J. F. Carter J. O. Carter S. F. Carter & N. E. Carter The State of South Carolina Know all men by these presents that I, Elizabeth Carter of Union County and the State aforesaid for and in consideration of the love, good will and affection which I have and do bear unto my beloved children to wit: J. F. Carter, J. O. Carter, S. F. Carter and N. E. Carter have granted, bargained, sold and released and by these presents do grant, bargain sell and release unto my said children equally to wit J. F. Carter, J. O. Carter, S. F. Carter and N. E. Carter all that piece, parcal or tract of land lying being and situate in Jonesville Township, County of Union and State aforesaid and bounded by lands of D. A. Hames, Lucy Lemaster, lands of New Hope Church, J. W. Scott and J. F. Carter and containing one hundred and twenty-two acres (122) more or less, together with all and singular the rights, members [?], ____[?], and appurtances to this said premises belonging or in anywise ____ or affecting to have and to hold all and singular the said premises before mentioned unto my children to wit: J. F. Carter, J. O. Carter, S. F. Carter and N. E. Carter, their heirs and assigns forever. And I do hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular of said premises unto my said children to wit: J. F. Carter, J. O. Carter, S. F. Carter and N. E. Carter, their heirs and assigns forwever against my and my heirs and all other persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part hereof.
