Witnesseth that the said Joseph Robertson for and in Consideration of the sum of twenty five Shillings lawful Current money of said Province to him in hand paid by the said William Faucett the Recept whereof is hereby acknowledged he the said Joseph Roberson hath Granted Bargained and Sold, and by these presents doth Grant Bargain and Sell unto the said William Faucett all that plantation or Tract of three hundred acres of land above Hugh Nelsons on Brown's Creek Granted to John Davis by William Tryon Esq. Captain General Governor and Commander in Chief of North Carolina Province with the Rights members and appurtenances thereof   Situate laying and being in the aforesaid County Province and District, and all houses Edifices Buildings Gardens, Orchards lands, Meadows Commons Pastures Feeding's Trees Woods Underwoods ways Paths Waters Water Courses Easements Profits Commodities Advantages Emoluments and Hereditaments whatsoever to the said Plantation and Tract of three hundred acres of land belonging or in any wise appertaining  or which now are or have been formerly accepted Reputed Taken Known Used Occupied or Enjoyed To or with the same or as part parcel or Member thereof or of any part thereof and the Reversion and Reversions, Remainder and Remainders Rents and Services of the said premises above mentioned and of every part and parcel thereof with the Appurtenances To Have and To Hold the said plantation or three hundred acres of Land Hereditaments and premises above mentioned, and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances unto the said William Faucett his Executors Administrators and assigns from the seventeenth day of this Instant may One thousand seven hundred and seventy five, for and during and unto the full end and Term of one whole year from thence next And Immediately Ensuing and following to be Compleat and Ended yielding and paying therefore one pepper Corn at the end of said Term if demanded to the Intent that by virtue of these presents, and by force of the Statutes for Transferring of the Uses into possession, he the said William Faucett may be in the Actual possession of all and singular the premises above mentioned with the appurtenances, and thereby be Enabled to accept and take a Grant and Release with the Reversion and Inheritance to him and his Heirs to the only proper Use and behoof of him the said William Faucett his Heirs and assigns forever.  In Witness whereof the said Joseph Robison and Ann Robertson agreeing herewith hath set their Hands and Seals the day and year above Written. fifteenth year of his Majesty George the Third his Reign and in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and seventy five  Between Joseph Robertson and Ann Robison wife of said Joseph Robison of South Carolina Province Craven County Nintysix District Gunsmith of the One part, and William Faucett of Province County and District of the other part: Witnesseth whereas in and by a Certain Grant bearing the twenty fifty day of September in the Sixth year of his Majesty's Reign Anno Domini: 1766 by William Tryon Esquire Captain General Governor and Commander in Chief in and Over the province of North Carolina unto John Davis for three hundred Acres of Land, then Reputed to be in North Carolina now known to be in Province, County and District aforesaid the said John Davis having made Conveyance of three hundred Acres of Land unto George Walker, also said George Walker unto the above said Joseph Robison therefore these Witnesseth that the above said Joseph Robison for and in Consideration of the sum of seven hundred and fifty pounds of lawful money of said Province to him in hand paid by the said William Faucett the Receipt whereof the said Joseph Robison doth hereby Confess and acknowledge and for divers other Good Causes and Considerations him thereunto moving he the said Joseph Robison Hath Granted Bargained and Sold Aliened, Released, and Confirmed, and by these presents doth freely and absolutely Grant, Bargain and Sell, Alien, Release and Confirm with the said William Faucett in his actual Possesion now being by virtue of a Bargain and Sale to him thereof made for one whole year by Indenture bearing date the day next before the date of these presents and by force of the Statute for Transferring of Uses into possession and to his heirs and assigns forever All That Plantation or Tract of three hundred acres of land with the Right Members and Appurtenances Thereof.  Situate Laying and being in the aforesaid South Province County and District on the west side of Broad River on the north fork of Brown's Creek above Hugh Nelson's Land.  Beginning at a Red Oak and Runs thence N. 80 W. 220 Poles to a small Red Oak Thence N 10 East 220 Poles to a large Red Oak, thence South 80 East 220 Poles to a small white Oak, Thence to the Beginning, and all houses Edifices, Buildings, Gardens, Orchards, Lands, Meadows, Commons Pastures Feedings Trees Woods under woods, ways Paths Waters and Water Courses, Easments Profits Commodities advantages, Emoluments, Profits Commodities, advantages, Emoluments, and Hereditaments whatsoever to the said three hundred acres of land belonging or in any wise appertaining or which now are or formerly have been Accepted, Reputed Taken known Used Occupied or Enjoyed to or with the same, or as part, parcel or member Thereof or of any part thereof and also the Reversion and Reversions, Remainder and Remainders, Rents, and Services of all and Singular the said Premises above mentioned and of every part and parcel thereof with the Appurtenances, and also all the Estate Right Title Interest Claim and Demand as well in Equity as in Law of him the said Joseph Robison and his wife of in and to all and Singular the said premises and of in and to every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances and also all deeds Evidences and writings which do Concern the said premises TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said plantation of three hundred acres of Land Hereditaments, and all and singular the premises above mentioned and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances unto the said William Faucett his Heirs and assigns to the only proper Use and behoof of the said William Faucett his heirs and assigns for ever, and the said Joseph Robison doth Covenant for himself, his heirs and assigns, and Grant to and with the said William Faucett his Heirs and assigns that he the said Joseph Robison now is the true lawful Owner of the said three hundred acres of Land Hereditaments and Premises above mentioned, and of every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances and also that he the said Joseph Robison now is Lawfully and Rightfully Seized in his Own Right of a Good sure and perfect absolute and Indefeassible Estate of Inheritance in fee Simple, of and in all and Singular the premises above mentioned with the appurtenances, without any manner of Condition Mortgage Limitation of use and Uses, or other matter Cause or thing to alter Change Charge or determine the same and that the said Joseph Robison and Ann Robison now hath Good Right, full power, and Lawful authority in their own name and right, to Grant Bargain Sell and Convey the said plantation or three hundred Acres of Land, Hereditaments and all and Singular the premises above mentioned with the appurtenances unto the said William Faucett his Heirs and assigns to the only proper Use and behoof of the said William Faucett his Heirs and Assigns for ever, According to the true Intent and meaning of these presents, and also that he the said William Faucett his Heirs and assigns shall and may at all times for ever hereafter peaceably have hold occupy possess and Enjoy all and singular the said plantation or Tract of three hundred Acres of land Hereditaments and premises above mentioned with the Appurtenances without  Trouble Hindrance Molestation, Interruption and Denial of him the said Joseph Robison and his wife the said Ann Robison their Heirs or Assigns, and of all and every other person or persons whatsoever.  And that freed and discharged, otherwise well and sufficiently saved and keept Harmless and Indemnified of all and former and other Bargains sales, Gifts Grants Leases Mortgages Jointures  Doweries Uses wills Intails fines Past fines Issues Amerceaments Seizures Bonds Annuities, Writings Obligatory Statutes Merchant and of the Staple Recognizances Extents Judgments Executions, Rents and Arrearages of Rents and of all from all other Charges Estates Rights Titles Troubles and Incumbrances whatsoever had made committed done or suffered by the said Joseph Robison or any other person or persons whatsoever Claiming or to Claim, by from or under him, them or any of them, and further that he the said Joseph Robison and his Heirs, and all and every other person and persons, and his own and their heirs, any Thing having or Claiming in the said premises above mentioned, or any part thereof by from or under him shall and Will from time to time and at all times hereafter upon the Reasonable Request, and at the Cost and Charges of the said William Faucet his Heir or Assigns make do and Execute or Cause or procure to be made done and Executed, all and every such further and other lawful and Reasonable Act and Acts Thing and Things device and devices Conveyance and Conveyances in Law whatsoever, for the further better and more perfect Granting, Conveying and assuring of all and Singular the said premises above mentioned with the appurtenances unto the said William Faucet his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said William Faucet his heirs and assigns for ever, as by the said William Faucet his Heirs or assigns or his or their Council learned in the Law shall be Reasonably devised or advised and Required and LASTLY it is Covenanted, Granted, Concluded and agreed upon by and between the said parties, and the true meaning thereof, also is, and it is hereby so declared, that all and every fine and fines, Recovery and REcoveries Assurance and Assurances, Conveyance and Conveyances in law whatsoever already had made Levied Suffered Executed and acknowledged by or between the said parties to these presents or Either of them or by or between them or either of them, and any other person or persons whatsoever of the said premises above mentioned, with the appurtenances or any part thereof either alone or by itself or jointly with any other lands Tenements Hereditaments Shall be and Enure, and shall be Ajudged Esteemed and taken to be and Enure as for and Concerningall and Singular the premises above mentioned with the appurtenances to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said William Faucet his heirs and Assigns for ever, According to the true Intent and meaning of these presents, and To and for no other use Intent and purpose whatsoever. In WITNESS Whereof the said Joseph Robison and Ann Robison his wife agreeables hereunto set their hands and Seals the day and year first above written.
