Deeds of Union County, South Carolina Book C, page 29 James Robinson to Elizabeth Hogans THIS INDENTURE Made This second day of October in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and Ninety Between James Robinson of Union County and State of South Carolina of the one Part and elizabeth Hogans of the same Place of the other Part.  Witnesseth that the said James Robinson for and in Consideration of the sum of seventy five Pounds Current Money hath bargained sold enfrossed conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto the said Elizabeth Hogans now in Actual possession being by Virtue of a Statute for transferring of uses into Possession and to her heirs and assigns forever all that tract or Parcel of lands lying and being in the County of Union and State aforesaid waters of Thickety containing one hundred and Fifty acres be the Same more or less originally granted to the said James Robison by his Excellency William Moultrie by a Pattent bearing date the fifth day of June 1786 and 12th year of the United States apertained by boundaries as Follows To wit. Bounded on the south by Moses Waters and Thomas Wright on the west by Joshua Petty on the North by Part of the same survey ______ by Henderson and Waters.  Now This Indenture Witnesseth that the said James Robinson hath bargained sold conveyed and confirmed unto the said Elizabeth Hogans her heirs and assigns forever all the aforesaid Tract of 150 acres as aforesaid situate as aforesaid Together with all and singular the houses out houses orchards buildings Improvements woods ways water water courses Issues Profits and Advantages thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders and every Part and parcel Thereof whatsoever of him the said James Robinson of in to or out of the said Premises and every Part thereof to have hold use occupy the same without the least hindrance of him the said James Robinson his heirs Executors administors or assigns and the said James Robinson doth hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Elizabeth Hogans her heirs Executors administrators and assigns that he the Said James Robinson shall and will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid premises unto the said Elizabeth Hogans her heirs and assigns from himself his heirs and assigns.  In Witnesseth whereof the said James Robinson hath hereunto Set his hand and Seal the date above.
