Contributed to The USGenWeb Archives by: Lorene Rambo (Hocott@aol.com) 9 Oct 1998 ---------------------------------------- James Robertson sells 45 acres to James Stein Deeds of Union County, South Carolina Book L, page 27, 1811 State of South Carolina Union District Know all men by these presents that I James Robertson of the State and District aforesaid in Consideration of the Sum of One Hundred Dollars to me paid in hand by James Stein of the State and District aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby fully acknowledged have granted Bargaind, Sold and released, and by these presents do grant bargain sell, and release unto the said James Stein a certain tract or parcel of land Containing Forty five acres be the same more or less lying and being in the State and District aforesaid on the South Side of Thickety Bounded as Follows.  Beginning on a Post Corner on Mathew Robertsons Land running thence a South Course to a Hickory Corner Thence a west Course with said M. Robertsons Land to a pine Corner from thence a North Course to a post oak Corner on Said James Stein's Land From thence an East Course with said Steins Land to the Beginning with all appurtenances to the Said Premises belonging or in any wise Incident or appertaining.  To Have and to Hold all and Singular the premises before mentioned unto the said James Stein His Heirs and assigns forever and I do Hereby bind myself my heirs Executors and administrators unto the said James Stein His Heirs and assigns forever and I do Hereby bind myself my heirs Executors and administrators to warrant and forever Defend all and Singular the Premises before mentioned unto the Said James Stein his Heirs and assigns against myself my Heirs Executors and Every other person lawfully Claiming or to Claim the Same or any part thereof. As witness my hand and Seal this 6th day of January One Thousand Eight hundred and Eleven.
