This Indentive: Witnesseth that I John Cole Planter, of Union County & State of South Carolina, callling to mind that it is appointed for all men once to die, and being at present blesed with the rational Excerixe of my understanding (as is usal wiht me) enjoying a smal measure of health tho' Imfirm in body do ordain and constitute this my last will and testament, First I resign my soul to the mercy of God, and body to the dust to be buried in a decent manner at the discretion of my Executors, Secondly my worldly estate to divided as follows. Viz: To my son Richard Cole I will and bequeath all that tract or percel of land sopposed to be one hundred and fifty acres being part of a tract of two hundred acres purchased by me from John Weinman refference being had to the Original Grant, or deeds of conveyance will more fully appear. Begining at a Red Oak on the East side the Reedy branch and runing North eighty west to a pine on said line, and there or near about, then runing a direct line to take the upper corner of the improvement made by said Richard Cole and running the same course with the upper line of fence till its intersecs the mouth of Fally Branch then up nthe several courses of sd branch till falling on the line of the Original Grant then with that line inclining to the begining to the next corner, then from that corner to the Red Oak first mentioned, with all the improvements and appurtances therunto belonging and ------Unto my daughter Lucey Baley I will and bequeath all that parcel of land sopposed to be fifty acres the remaining part of the tract above mentioned with all appurtances thereof and -------Turn Over I farther will and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary my lands, two negroes, David and Judith, my stocks of cattle, horses, hoggs, and plantation tools, household and kitchen furniture to be for her support during her natural life or widowhood and at her marriage or death then what remains of the above be sold and the mony ariseing from sd sale (after cost and charges are paid). Be equally divided to my children Richard, John, Elizabeth Cannon, Mary Hendric, Nancey Baley, Lucey Baley and Rhoda Yerbey.---Lastly I do appoint will and constitute my beloved wife Mary my Executrix and my son Richard Cole my Executor to nput in excution this will and testament as the law directs, and do by these presents revoke all fromer wills lagacies or bequeaths by me made and this only to by my last will and testament.
