And my Body to be Buried by my Executors hereafter Nam'd. I desire all my just debts be paid and then my Estate Real and Personal to be disposed of as follows. VIZ. to my two youngest Children Elizabeth and Joannah Morris I leave a Certain part of my Land from the Spring branch to the Dividing line Be- tween Me and Moses Waters Lying on both sides of the Creek on the north side of the Creek to a Small part of my land that I gave to my son William Wright and on the South side Joining a part of Land I gave to my son in law Abraham Goset And the rest my whole Estate I desire my wife may have Sole possession Dur- ing her or widowhood without my wife and Executors thinks fit to let any Child in Want have any part of my Estate by having that part first Valued and then charging the Said Child with the same at the Division of the Estate that is at my wifes Death or Marriage And I do Give then my Estate to be equally divided Between my Nine children William Mary Matilda Nancy Dellee Abner, Sally, Elizabeth and Joanner Morris Wright, And I desire that if any of the Said Children Should die without Isue that their part Should be Equally Divided between the rest And Further that William Burt may be maintained as usual with my wife and after her Death for Some or Other of the Children that he thinks fit to live with may take him and for each and every One of the Children to pay an Equal part to maintain him Wright Executors of this my Last will and Testament Given under my hand and Seal this first day of December in the year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Eighty Seven Thos. Names in payments,etc., 1816-1817: Moses Waters, Administrator Dan'l. White Jesse Tate (could be Jusse), buyer M. Alexander, Clk. John Waters Moses Simmons William Rice, Ordinary "A List of Articles Sold onthe 26th & 27th day of December 1816 belonging to the Estate of Thomas Wright Dec'd." Purchasers: Col. Elijah Dawkins [buying cotton] Joseph Collins [ditto] Jno. M. Black [ditto] Abner Goforth [buying corn] John Waters [ditto] Part of one page was not copied so the date of this appraisal is not included on my copy. The names of the slaves the best I can make out are: Sary, Milly, Suck Wily & Haly, Hanner Merril & George, Patsy, Betsy, Jack, Isaac, and Joe. Appraised by C. Dawkins, Jas. Lawrence, and Francis Whelchel. William Rice, Ordinary of Union District, issued a notice on 6th June 1816 notifying all that Moses Waters had applied for Admin. and this note is writen thereon: "June 7, 1816, Red in Publick at Guilky Creek M H union district By me Jesse Richardson" Moses Waters and Henry Farnandix signed a ten thousand dollar bond to William Rice, Ordinary.
