(Signed) W W Pettus December 24 1849 Test: [Moses A. Weaver?] Additional Comments: Alsey Fuller (1777-1843) died intestate in York County in 1843. His wife, Sarah (Dillard)Fuller, died intestate 12-29-1845 in York County. Alsey Fuller's administrators were his son Isham and son-in-law Thomas Kendrick. Sarah Fuller's first administrator was son Isham Fuller. However, Isham passed away himself (over the state line in Mecklenburg County, NC), and Sarah Fuller's second administrator in York County was James Thorn. Sarah and son Isham also had estates filed in Mecklenburg County, NC. This family lived in the Fort Mill area and Isham lived a little to the North in Mecklenburg County, NC. The document transcribed above is the final document in the second of two estate files filed in Sarah Fuller's York County estate (one for administrator Isham Fuller; one for successor administrator James Thorn). It contains receipts for distribution of Sarah Fuller's personal property estate from Alsey and Sarah Fuller's two remaining sons (William and Bartholomew-son Isham had passed away in 1846) and the husbands of their two daughters. Thomas Kendrick married daughter Mary Fuller. William Wadkins Pettus was the second husband of daughter Sarah E. Fuller. I am hoping to transcribe the rest of these files at some point if time permits. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/sc/york/court/fuller62gwl.txt
