To all to whom these Presents shall come -- Greeting: KNOW YE, That on the seventh day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty seven the last Will and Testament of John Miller late of this District, deceased, was proved-in open Court, and approved and allowed of before and by the said Court, and the administration of all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits of the said deceased, within this State, was thereupon granted, and committed by the said Court, unto Joseph Miller & George W. Williams named Executors in the said Will they being first duly sworn, well and faithfully to administer, and make a full and perfect inventory of all and singular the said goods and chattels, rights and credits, and to exhibit the same inventory into the Office of the Clerk of the Court of Ordinary aforesaid, in order to be recorded, on or before the seventh day of August next, and to render a just and true account, calculation and reckoning thereof, when thereunto required. Ross Ordinary of York District These are to authorize & empower you or any three or four of you whose names are hereunder written to repair to all such parts & places within this State as you shall be directed unto by Joseph Miller & Geo W. Williams Executors of the Estate of John Miller deceased wheresoever any of the goods & chattels of said Estate are or do remain within the said parts & places and which shall be shown unto you by the said Joseph Miller & G. W. Williams and there view and appraise all and every the said goods and chattels being first duly sworn on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God to make a true & perfect inventory and appraisement thereof and to cause the same to be returned under your hands or any three or four of you unto the said Joseph Miller & G. W. Williams on or before the 30th day of June next. Witness John M. That on the 9th day of June 1847 personally appeared before me J C Thomason one of the Magistrates of the said District, E. W. Smith, Robt M Clellan, P T Thomason, Duley Jones & Joel Joiner, being five of the appraisers appointed to appraise the goods & chattels of the Estate John Miller deceased who being duly sworn made oath that they would make a just and true appraisement of all & singular the goods & chattels of the said Jno Miller decd. as shall be produced by Joseph Miller and G. W. Williams Executors of the Estate of said deceased and that they would return the same certified under their hands unto the said Joseph Miller & G. W.
